Scrappy Granny Square Blog-A-Long Pt.2

Wow! I feel like the past month flown by incredibly fast! I’m little behind on my blocks admittedly, but I am hoping to get all caught up by the end of the week. I have 2 weeks worth to catch up on, whoops! However, that is what happens when getting ready for fall, planning a wedding, visiting family, and starting a new job… side-crafting kind of gets left behind.

Currently, and for the next few weeks, I will be working a huge sewing order because I have been hired by The Loopy Ewe in Fort Collins, CO to be part of their 2022 Yarn Advent Calendar. And I don’t want to give away too much because that’s what makes advents so fun, is the surprises! But check out the The Loopy Ewe for more details about this years Yarn Advent Calendar.

Anyways back to the Scrappy Granny Sqaure Blog-A-Long, which is totally free btw… think of kind of like an online crochet group.

So here is what I have done so far…

Here is week 1 & 2 9x9 blocks all slip stitched together. Now, I just have to weave in those dreaded ends and slip stitch weeks 3 & 4 blocks together.

I’m very pleased with how fun and scrappy this piece is going to be, and I just going to make an afghan and see how big it gets.

Oh, and I did decide to slip stitch the blocks together because I thought that it looked the nicest and will look very cool when the afghan gets blocked.
